The nomination window for the Top Escape Rooms Project Enthusiasts’ Choice Award (TERPECA) 2024 is officially open!

Have you played at least 200 escape rooms? You’re warmly invited to claim the prestigious title of TERPECA Nominator and nominate up to 10 escape games that you believe deserve a place among the world’s best. 🏆🌍 But take note: you cannot have any familial, economic, or other affiliations with the games!

The nomination phase runs throughout October, with the nominees announced in early November. Don’t miss your chance to support your favourite rooms and help them achieve global recognition! ✨

If you’re an escape room enthusiast who has played more than 100 rooms, you can register as a voter and contribute to the ranking of nominated games. With your help, the best games can reach even greater heights!

Your vote is especially important because Slovenia sees significantly fewer TERPECA voters and nominators compared to the larger European capitals and cities with a denser concentration of exceptional escape rooms.

Escape room enthusiasts travel the world to experience as many fantastic games as possible, which is why TERPECA has become a key guide. Making it onto the list means attracting more international visitors and boosting our chances of climbing even higher next year.

Slovenia has its own representatives! The Key team boasts nominations for their game The Game in Bled (2020, 2021). Enigmarium Maribor received three nominations for Redlight Casino (2020, 2021, 2022), and Enigmarium Ljubljana was nominated in 2022 for Circus and in 2023 for Operation Water Man and Return of the Werewolf. Both games offer a unique blend of Slovenian mythology, gripping stories, and incredible visual and interactive elements, all while promoting Ljubljana as a top tourist destination for escape room enthusiasts.

Among the nominators are Nataša Potočnik and Peter Arčon, with around 300 games played worldwide (naturally, they cannot propose games they’ve been involved with).
