From 12 to 14 November 2026, Wrocław, Poland, will once again become the centre of the global escape room industry, hosting an international conference, EXPO, and the grand final of the ER Champ 2026 World Escape Room Championship.

The Slovenian Escape Room Association (GIZ ER.SI) invites all escape room owners, creators, experience designers, game masters, and other industry professionals to join us for this exciting event!

The two-day conference at Concordia Design offers a fantastic opportunity to step away from daily operations, look at the bigger picture, and discover what’s happening in other markets.

Why should you attend?

• Fresh ideas and emerging trends: Where is the escape room industry heading? What new formats are being developed, and how are visitor expectations evolving?
• First-hand industry insights: Learn from the experiences of international creators, developers, and experience operators.

ER Champ is one of the most important international competitions in the escape room world, and this year’s edition is particularly special as it celebrates its 10th anniversary.

The ten best teams, having secured their places through international qualifiers, will compete in the grand final at the historic Leśnica Castle.

This year’s competition draws inspiration from Slavic mythology, with finalists facing specially designed challenges.

For those of us who create escape rooms, it’s also a fantastic opportunity to discover innovative approaches to puzzle design, storytelling, dramaturgy, and player experience.

Slovenia has a strong tradition of creating innovative escape rooms, with talented creators proving that world-class experiences can emerge even from a relatively small market.

That’s why it’s so important for us to be present at international industry events, exchange knowledge, stay informed about developments, and build connections with colleagues from around the world.

Enigmarium, one of our association’s members, will also be actively participating in this year’s conference! More details about their involvement will be announced soon.

We warmly encourage other Slovenian creators and operators to join us as well. The more of us there are, the more opportunities we’ll have to exchange ideas, make valuable connections, and showcase the Slovenian escape room scene internationally!
